Anjali and Keith Married – Calgary Indian Wedding Photographers

I truly enjoyed this wedding.  Anjali & Keith were married on a beautiful summer day in Calgary with amazing family and friends around them.  Both got ready in their homes with supportive bridesmaids and groomsmen helping them out, and  being there on their biggest day of their lives.

I enjoyed this wedding even more as I was a second shooter to the talented  Margot of  www.margotthorntonphotography.com.   I was helping her photograph the wedding, but as a second shooter was able to shoot creatively with no pressure on me. I really think that the images that we captured  some of the best images I’ve taken!  And most of the following images are pretty much straight out of the camera full of instant awesomeness.

After Anjali and Keith were ready we headed out to SAIT for some creative bridals and also headed down to Stephen Avenue for more images before making our way to the Calgary Zoo where a colorful outdoor Indian ceremony took place. Even more color was added by a peacock that was walking around the ceremony. Afterwards all guest headed in to the beautifully arranged reception, with some time also to enjoy the green house and butterfly enclosure. The speeches at the ceremony were great – family and friends shared their well wishes, love, insights and funny stories with this great couple.

What is really cool is that my sister and Anjali actually studied together at Queens University some years ago!  My sister – Geology and Anjali – Law  and also later on during their post-graduate studies resided in the same prestigeous Green College at UBC.  Its pretty neat how it is such a small world!

Maros.

Enjoy this beautiful Indian wedding from the getting ready to the Calgary zoo!
