2012 Photo Folder Structure & Backup reminder from your HanaFoto team

We are thankful for a wonderful 2010 and can’t wait for all the new adventures in 2012. We  especially wish to all of our 2012 brides & grooms  happy wedding planning!

Christmas Give-Away!

Once again I would like of offer you our Hanafoto Folder structure – we use the following folder strucutre ourselves to keep our imges organized and to list chronologically on our computers – also we use and recomend the free Picasa software which offers basic image adjustment, photo managemnt and is easy to use. Check it out here after downloading our folder structure.

basically it goes like this:

• 2012
  • 2012_01_January
    • 2012_01_01_New_Years_Day
    • 2021_01_02_Family_Trip
  • 2021_02_February……etc

This way all your images will be listed in chronological order (by adding _01 for Jan and _02 for Feb – it will make your computer to list those in order)

Also here is another priceless tip:  BACKUP YOUR FILES & IMAGES!!!! – after each outing, special occasion  or holiday back up your images on TWO external drives – these days you can get  a 1TB drive for under 100$, say like these  ones.  This way you can kee  p one in your house and in a safe or off-site. This way if your computer gets corrupt, crashes or what ever – your images and data will be safe.
